A key phrase for 24/7 prayer is "intimacy brings involvement". In other words, intimacy with God, cannot help but lead us to getting involved in the world he created. The prayer room is great for helping us become intimate with our God. If you want a focus for your prayer we suggest praying for our city, and expect to get involved!

Yes. You can of course pray wherever you like -- Jesus said that God isn't interested what place we go to worship Him, but how we worship Him: in Spirit and in truth (John 4:24). But what we are trying to do is to draw people together to fill a particular place with ceaseless prayer and praise, as for example was the case in David's tabernacle (cf. 1 Chron. 24:7, Amos 9:11, Acts 15:16) -- so yes, if you want to be involved in our prayer week, you have to come to the prayer room.

No, but we are trying to fill up a whole week of prayer, and it would be really helpful to us if you could so that we know which are the empty slots which need to be filled!

No! Feel free to come on your own, or bring a big group.

We want the prayer room to be open and welcoming to anyone who is coming to pray in the name of Jesus. If you find yourself in the prayer room with others you don't know then please introduce yourself! The Bible says that by being welcoming to strangers, some have even entertained angels!

We have split the week into hour slots. Feel free to book as many slots (consecutive or not!). If an hour sounds like a long time in prayer (as it did for me) I hope you'll be surprised how spending an hour with God goes too quickly!
